Antique Signed Kutani Shoza Sake Bottle

Beautiful late EDO to MEIJI era (1880 – 1910) Kutani Tokurri Sake Bottle signed Kutani Shoza, a most highly regarded Kunita potter and the founder of Kutani.

Completely hand painted with flowers and birds and embellished with 18 carat gold highlights and embossing.  Originating from the mountain village of Kutani in Ishikawa Prefecture. Excellent condition.

Signed Kutani Shoza on the base.
