Large Antique Kutani Tsukuru Signed Tea Ceremony Bowl

A complex and beautiful Large Kutani Signed Tea Ceremony Bowl from Meiji era Japan (1868 – 1912).  Traditionally used as Kashiki bowls in tea ceremonies.

Beautifully hand painted with real gold pigment and depicting a temple or palace scene.

The bowl has the Seal of Kutani Tsukuru – Kutani Made.  Ishikawa Prefecture in Japan.

In excellent condition with no cracks or chips.
