An Oban size woodblock print by Hiroshige.  Seven Mile Beach Sagami Province (Sagami Shichiri-ga-hama) on the island of Enoshiyama.  The print is Number 19 from the series Thirty Six Views of Mount Fuji (Fuji sanjurokkei).

Two women in a pavilion observe a woman and children walk along a beach at Srichirigahama. Also featured in the background are Mount Fuji and the island of ENOSHIYAMA.

Originally published c1840 to 1842 by Yamasho.  This is a reprint from mid 20th century circa 1950s.

Utagawa Hiroshige also Andō Hiroshige 1797 to 1858.

Hiroshige is best known for his landscapes as well as his depictions of birds and flowers.   He created many woodblock print series such as the Fifty-three Stations of the Tokkaido along with the Sixty-nine Stations of the Kiso Kaido.  He was considered the last great master of the woodblock print tradition.
