Mid 20th Century Japanese Lacquer Comb

A delightful 1930a Japanese Lacquer Comb also known as a Kushi.  Beautifully hand carved from Cherry wood also known as Sakura wood.  It has an Urushi lacquer finish decorated with red lacquer flowers inset with Mother of Pearl.

The comb is in good condition overall.  There is a small chip to the back of the comb which can be seen in the images.

Dimensions are approximately 10.5 cm wide x 6 cm high
