Detailed with Camellia blossoms and foliage with blue and white cartouches and fine gold patterns.  Signed on the base and in very good condition with no cracks or chips (see images).  Some signs and marks from age and use.

Late Meiji Era Kutani Kyusu Teapot

A beautifully hand painted underglaze Kutani Teapot from the late Meiji Era Japan (1900s).  Detailed with camellia blossoms and foliage with blue and white cartouches and fine gold patterns.  In very good condition with no cracks or chips (see images).  Signed Kutani on the base of the teapot. Some signs and marks from age and use.

Approximate dimensions are total width 15 cm, height 9.5 cm and diameter 9.5 cm.  Weight of tea pot is approximately 410 grams.
