1840s Japanese Imari Tea Ceremony Plates

Two very beautiful antique Japanese Imari tea ceremony plates from the late Edo era circa 1840s to 1860s.

Intricately and delicately hand painted and glazed with motifs featuring 24 carat gold pigment. Excellent condition for their age.

Approximate Dimensions of each plate are 4.7 inches diameter and the weight of both plates is 250 grams.
