In excellent condition, unframed, hand printed on washi, traditional Japanese paper, with good ink bleed through to verso.

ARTIST: TERUHIDE KATO
Born in 1936 Kato studied at Kyoto Art College and enjoyed a successful career as a Kimono Designer in the 1960s and 1970s.
At the age of 50 he decided to become a traditional woodblock artist which had been his long held dream. Kato is best known for his contemporary woodblock shin-hanga prints of his native town Kyoto.
